- Do you have any age restrictions?
- The minimum age is 4 years old and we have no maximum age limit.
- Is there a weight limit?
- Yes, we have a limit of 15 stone (95kg)
- Can I borrow a hat and body protector?
- We have a wide range of hats and body protectors to fit all sizes, which you can borrow free of charge for your riding lesson. We do ask our clients to buy their own hats and body protectors if they start to come for lessons regularly.
- How much do lessons cost?

- Does it matter if I haven’t ridden before?
- No! We welcome all ages and abilities at Barton Field Farm, and we have a range of lovely ponies for you to learn on.
- Can I bring a friend to watch?
- Yes! We have a viewing gallery in our indoor school for friends and family to watch and a seating area for our outside school.
- Can I come and look around?
- Of course. Please find a member of staff upon arrival and they will give you a quick tour so you can see the facilities and meet the horses.

- Do you have a cancellation policy?
- Yes, we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Full lesson charges must be paid if the lesson is cancelled within 24 hours.
I can’t rate you highly enough. I love coming here and can never wait for my next lesson. I’ve been bitten by the riding bug and I love it. All the instructors are fabulous and I always feel so welcome.

I would highly recommend this riding school to anyone at any age. Lovely clean, tidy yard, great schools and surfaces to ride on. Staff are very friendly and helpful at all times and horses are really well cared for and treated as their own rather than the typical riding school.
